TVS Motor Company’s electric scooter wholesale volumes increased 79% YoY in December 2024. The electric scooter segment with flagship brand, TVS iQube witnessed robust wholesale volume growth in 2024. In 2020, TVS Motor Company launched its first electric product, the TVS iQube and has since expanded its offerings across a diverse range. TVS iQube is available in three battery options, 2.2 kilowatts, 3.4 kilowatts and 5.1 kilowatts.
Electric scooter segment now constitutes 6% of TVS Motor Company’s total monthly volumes. TVS iQube is now exported to ASEAN and Asia countries. TVS Motor Company currently has 750 dealerships across the country for its electric scooter segment.
While TVS Motor Company is not playing the discount game in a highly competitive electric scooter market in India, the company introduced the single battery pack for its 2.2 Kilowatt TVS iQube. TVS iQube 09, was launched in the market with a lesser price and a single pack battery. TVS Motors has lined up a new electric scooter launch in FY25 and also an electric three wheeler.
